The project aims to find how helmets can be redesigned with alternative more sustainable materials to reshape the industry. Additionally, with the National plastics plan in Australia coming into effect to phase out Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) in loose fill and moulded consumer packaging in 2022, what might motorcycle helmets will look like 10 years in the future in a world where EPS is banned?
